Background of Community Education at UW-Extension, Waukesha County

Much of the organizing and programming that Waukesha County Extension Community Educators do is focused on Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Areas (NRSA) which is a designation of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Department (HUD).  The NRSA designation provides funding for community development activities like educational workshops, after-school programs and neighborhood block club development  through Community Development Block Grant funds and other sources.  See our Neighborhood Work pages and get involved!
